As a Diabetic i'm supposed to test my blood sugar once before and after consuming food. I do this with a testing kit I'm supplied with. It is essential to my well being. My pack comes with one meter, a flimsy bag of about ten Lancets, one Lancet device, and test strips.
A reoccurring issue I've had with using a Diabetic testing kit is that I often run out of one or the other. I often hit my refill to soon, and it pushes me to turn to over the counter products without the help of my insurance.
Hence, why I made an appointment.
I did a trial run of the Libre 14 day sensor and I fell in love with it. Not only was it convenient with all aspects of my day to day life. I did not have to use Lancets or Tests strips. Eliminating my shortage problem completely. I simply put the sensor on and I was set for half a month. Free to test my blood sugar levels as I pleased. I was the easiest way to test that I've experienced.
I would simply hover the meter over the sensor and the results would be sent to the meter in a matter of seconds.
That is what I hope to get with this next appointment.
